Some of these techniques work well with non-alpha content so be sure to try them out to get the most out of your library. The methods outlined allow you to add remixed content to your collection easily using the power of Resolume. Im currently using it for Projection Mapping, and Ive been able to figure it out simply enough, however I really have no idea how to use Resolume with LED strips. We cover the Advanced Output tools and how to use them, input mapping via Input Selection, projection mapping on your physical stage using Output. We provide a hands-on demonstration showing how to set up your composition and create slices for a stage of four squares. This tutorial will cover how to set up multiple projectors for projection mapping in Resolume Arena 7. This tutorial goes over the basics of projection mapping in Resolume. Backgrounds that are easily customizable and can further extend the use of your existing content. I’ll be demonstrating how it’s done by projection mapp. This tutorial also goes step-by-step to show you ways to create versatile backgrounds using a mix of Transform properties and various effects such as VideoWall and Mirror. Techniques to create variations from your existing alpha content are explained, specifically shapes and formations using the Kaleidoscope and Iterate effects. You will learn how content with alpha channels work, along with some of the advantages of using single element loops such as shapes. In this video, I go over a quick 2 projector edge blend in Resolume's Advanced Output soft edge tool.Using 2 projectors on a 9m x 3m screen I show you how to. All things alpha channels are explained in this tutorial for Resolume Arena 4 & 5, and Avenue 4. This is a virtual workshop for all skill levels that guides you through everything from composition fundamentals to show preparation and projection mapping. The outer structure projector takes it image from the other group.īut if i setup my composition this way, i can't monitor both groups and see whats going on in my output monitor. Then in advanced output with 3 screens, i blended the 2 screens of the inside structure and routed the right group as input. A new Resolume install comes with an example composition. It may look complicated at first but don't worry - it will soon all make sense. I started with a 1920 x 1810px resolution in composition settings, made a group for the outer structure, another group for the inner structure. Quickstart Tutorial Right You've got Resolume installed so let's jump in and see what it can do, shall we Run the Resolume application. I'm mostly confused how to setup my resolume composition, so i can see what's going on with all outputs, how would you tackle this ? This makes a 1920x 1810px surface with the blend. My apologies, it used to be in the manual but its not there anymore I used to teach a class in projection design using Arena 4 so the list of blend modes was in my handout: 50 Add Add the RGB value of each pixel in the layer to the RGB value of the input. This mode and 50 Lighten are useful when audio-visual clips are being mixed. Inside this stage there should be another projection where i blend 2 short throws full hd's, above each other to achieve a higher resolution / better focus on the inside structure, which is 3m deeper than the outside structure. I have a gig coming where they asked if i could install a 20k full hd projector to map a stage (the red square in the drawing). Hii ! I'm a bit stuck here so i hope your advice could help me out.
